What’s Mapness Working On?

Mars Landers on Map by ToastyKen.Since the massive New Year’s Development Marathon things have hardly slowed down at Mapness..

We are now approaching the final phases of launching the latest release of Mapness, which is going to bring some substantial improvements to the Mapness experience, along with a couple of nice surprises at the same time.

However, this next release will be just one step on the long roadmap that we have planned towards Mapness becoming every traveller’s best friend. Some of the things we have planned for the future are:

  • A mobile version of Mapness, so you can record your travel experiences on the road
  • Lots of additional social functions to help share your trips with others, and exchange travel ideas, tips and inspiration
  • Search & planning functionality which allows Mapness to be used to plan new trips as well as record old ones
  • Group travel journals, so you can share travel as a team

Let us know what you would like to see on Mapness?

Thanks for your input Art - and you’ll be please to know that we are working on some improvements in that area. They won’t make it for the immediate next release, but are coming soon!

Would it be possible to have road routes to be travelled marked? Also an itinerary list as well as a one event at a time view.

    Hi Jeff,

I’ve been trying to answer your email, but I’m told that the address no longer exists. Can you email me with another address?

    Many thanks,
    Mark.
